This conference is jointly organized by the Asian Facial Plastic Surgery Society, the Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the Taiwan Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery to promote the high quality facial plastic surgery. I believe the conference will bring together the experts from Asia to share experiences, discuss novel techniques, and exchange ideas.

The meeting will be held at NTUH International Convention Center, Taipei, on September 1 and 2.
The 2nd AFPSS meeting was held in Taipei, and we are delighted to have you back to Taipei this time. The conference will include outstanding speeches by leading experts from all over the Asia. We will do everything we can to make this a relevant, instructive and innovative event for facial plastic surgeons. We hope you will find this conference fruitful from both professionally and socially.

Dear distinguished guests and all my friends,
The 9th Annual Congress of AFPSS and 25th Annual Meeting of TAFPRS is an important milestone to both Taiwan and AFPSS, because “Nine” in our culture means longevity and eternity. I salute Prof. Hong Ryul Jin and all the founding members of AFPSS for the great ambition to encourage the growth of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Asia by hosting this congress. Let me express my gratitude to all the international and domestic faculty and attendees. Because of you, this conference convinced us that Asian collaboration on the bright future of Asian beauty and even global beauty is possible.
Moreover, Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is in the era of remodeling. The systemic transformation conducted during my presidency will make our society more expandable, more educational and more legally recognized. I’m delighted to share our academy’s rebirth with all our Asian friends.
We are honored to have Prof. Jenq-Yuh Ko, Prof. Te-Huei Yeh, Prof. Yi-Tsen Lin and the excellent staff of National Taiwan University Hospital hosting this annual meeting, and I want to thank the president of Taiwan Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Prof. Yao-Hsiang Lin for his kind supporting the TAFPRS.
So far TAFPRS is the only society that hosted the AFPSS meeting for the second times. It’s again our great pleasure to express Taiwanese hospitality and friendship. I’m confident that we will hear many good ideas during this 2-days conference and I’ve prepared good food, fine wines and free tours for all my friends in return, to make sure that all of you enjoy the stay in Taipei.
